Flashback

Can you believe it's already been ten years since this video? Listening to Blink-182 makes me feel.. a certain way. A good "certain way".

This is my best gal

"Love is Blind"

May 11, 2009

Perhaps that phrase is true because it seems that every language has that saying.

Ljubezen je slepa
Aşkın gözü kördür
любовь слепa
L'amore è cieco
L'amour est aveugle

But is it really? Sometimes, I feel like true love is seeing everything--the good, the bad, the truth, the reality, the faults, the happiness. Everything. You love the person knowing that they aren't perfect. And I don't mean the "no one's perfect because we're human" type "perfect", but the idea that this person is perfect For You. I love the man in my life, but I feel as though this Love is not just any average love. Is that grandiose of me to say? I know this man is far from perfect and I see so many faults in him. But are faults a negative quality? If you're painting and "mess up", is it really a mishap? or do you work with it and make it something beautiful? I think Love is seeing everything and loving the person just the same, or even more. Because of these "faults" I have this man. Without these qualities, I would not have this man that I love. And I do love him.

Steve-O: Demise & Rise

Not going to lie, I love Jackass and Johnny Knoxville and anything part of that Jeff Tremaine directed/Dickhouse Production hooplah. Love it. I guess it's a result of hanging out with guys all throughout junior high and high school. My brother had this Steve-O docu DVR-ed and it's definitely worth watching. Insane.

Here's part one and parts 2-8 will show up in the related videos. Watch it if you've got 45 minutes.

Starbucks barista: "Do you take whipped cream?"
Steve-O: "No, I'm addicted to nitrous oxide."
Starbucks barista: "Alright."

That girl's so scandalous

I forgot to mention that Sisqo and his posse definitely cut in front of me at bag check at BWI on Saturday. I think Dondero told me that he was from Baltimore or something. Let's take it back to 1998!

Really?

Not only is that thing TERRIBLE, but she's also wearing the cool-guy.

People are terrible.
