Adventures on the G Train

I walk on the train and head to the end, where all but one seat is available. A homeless man is occupying one seat and as I take my three steps forward, he yells at me and holds his hand out. I jumped back and turned the other way. I guess he didn't want me sitting near him..

For the next five stops, he yells pure jibberish. "Sugrashi faratamba ruizas... Obama." He ended every sentence in Obama. I guess he didn't like me because when other people got on the train he didn't yell at them when they sat near him.

I don't really understand the point of Resort collections. It's supposed to be stuff you'd wear on vacation to St. Barts or Rio, but some collections seem far from that. I think YSL captures that essence of a luxury vacation you want to take, but can't afford. Jason Wu did a nice job, too. But what's the point of a trench (Burberry Prorsum) or boot/sandals (Chanel) when you're on vacay?
