Sunday night, I made a French-inspired three course meal: onion soup (my lighter version), Swordfish alongside puréed broccoli and leeks with a roasted red pepper sauce, and a crackly chocolate cake with cream and blackberries.
It was yummy, but holy moly is it time-consuming. I hated it. And I needed soo many gadgets and food processors and blenders and pots and pans and spoonies and extra bowls.. ahhh.
Moral of the story: French food is good and all, but leave it to the professionals to make it. Too fussy.
