Goodbye summer, hello fall. Last night, the season's suddenly changed in New York. Beau and I walked out of the office around 8pm and the chilly wind gave us smiles from ear-to-ear. I was giggling like a schoolgirl. There's a very specific smell to this time of year that doesn't happen in California. It smells like fall/winter. Maybe it's because California only has one season, but the smell is here. Now it's time for soups, chilis, squash ravioli, quiches and pumpkin everything. Life is good.
